The Band       Randy Spencer    "God Zulu" Cain’s lead guitarist and vocalist, started playing guitar at age 7.  He took private lessons throughout his school years and played in his first rock and roll band in junior high.   In addition to rock bands, Randy played in various ensembles during high school, including stage band and acoustic folk groups.  Randy earned his music degree from DU’s Lamont School of Music and went to play and record in numerous local projects, developing his own distinctive style of original rock while honing his lead guitar skills.       Denise Spencer  Cain’s most beautiful member is rhythm guitarist Denise Spencer.  She first picked up her instrument of choice at age 13, taking private lessons then studying at both the Denver Guitar Institute and UCD.  She has played professionally in the Denver area for the last 20 years in rock groups including Chapter 13, Shades of Persuasion and Orchard Penumbra.  She met up with Randy Spencer in 1990 while forming Table 9.  They have since gone on together forming Verify Cain and now, Cain.                      Paula Johnson - "P J" Vocalist Paula Johnson. joined the band in 2009 and has added a whole new dimension to the sound.  Cain is Paula's first band.  She worked as a Karaoke Jock in area clubs for years developing her own unique vocal style while performing a wide variety of material.                    Rich Mielke Rich Mielke Bass Player Bassist Rich Mielke is a self taught player from small town Illinois that Uncle Sam brought to Colorado in 1989. He started playing guitar at age thirteen and dedicated his efforts full time to the bass in 2001. Years of guitar playing and a diverse musical taste have helped Rich develop a style that has groove but is melodic as well.                  Dave The Drummer Dave.
